Acuity Personnel Management
The management of available resources is the most complicated procedure within any public safety agency.
Who’s on, off, available, re-assigned, on vacation, sick for any given day of the year. The solution is
to eliminate the guesswork associated with scheduling of personnel and resources.
The Personnel Mgt. system was designed to schedule any number of divisions, each with their own specific
rotations/shifts. Flexible definitions of work group rotations are defined by each agency
including 4 on/2 off, 24 hour shifts, overlapping shifts etc. Customized work codes and accrual
categories for exceptions to schedules (vacations, sick, swaps, personal days) define one of the many
attributes of the system.

Acuity Computer Assisted Training (CAT)
The CAT system was designed to allow your training officer to develop lessons that are specific to your
agency, each lesson satisfying your department’s own unique requirements.
Court rulings and changes in department policy cause previous lessons to become outdated. Using the
CAT system you can update your lessons and have the changes available to your officers within an hour.
The CAT system helps you test the understanding of course material by those using the system. You can
produce an exam to test on whatever material your department considers most important. The computer
will administer the exam. The computer will also correct the exams, providing immediate feedback to
the student.
